What is a Dog Snood?  Snoods are designed for floppy or long eared breeds to keep the dog's ears from being submersed in their water and food bowls.  Imagine, no more sopping wet or crunchy ears at meal time!

What are they made of?  How are they made?  Our snoods are made of 100% washable cotton, lightweight poly/cotton, or fleece fabrics. Cotton or poly/cotton is preferred for its lightweight, washable properties.  All snoods from DogSnoods.com are hand made in the USA with no unfinished edges or exposed elastic to avoid tangling of hair.

How do I use them?  Simply place them on the dog’s head as shown and gently tuck the ears inside.  Elastic at the top and bottom (inside a ¾” pocket) holds ears comfortably in place and keeps them from falling into food and water bowls.  DOGS SHOULD ALWAYS BE SUPERVISED WHEN WEARING SNOODS!

What size do I need for my dog?  Our snoods are hand cut and made from machined templates to aid consistency.  We do not routinely "stock" snoods for sale.  Sizing has been done in accordance with AKC breed standards, however there are some breeds whose standards put them just between our sizes (Cavaliers are an example).  Check out our "Sizes" page for measuring info.  Four sizes are currently available.

How long does it take to get my order?  Once we've confirmed your fabric availability we will hold fabrics for 24 hours awaiting payment.  Depending on the number ordered, snoods are usually shipped out in five (5) business days after cleared payment. Items are shipped via US Mail, either First Class or Priority (depending on location and weight of order), and with insurance and delivery confirmation.

What if I am unhappy with my purchase?  You may return items defective in material or workmanship within ten (10) days of receipt of purchase for a full refund.  There are no exchanges or refunds for sizing if you have failed to provide all of the requested sizing and breed information at the time your order was placed.  See our Sizes and Ordering page for more information.
